The REMEDIES Anti-Litter Campaign in Spain is led by Aitiip Technology Centre, focusing on the Zaragoza Demo Site. Running throughout September and October 2025, this campaign aims to raise awareness, engage stakeholders, and showcase innovative solutions that contribute to the fight against plastic pollution.

Through targeted communication activities and hands-on initiatives, the campaign will highlight the role of Zaragoza as a hub for innovation and collaboration in the transition toward a zero-waste future.

This initiative supports REMEDIES’ wider mission to:

✅ Engage communities, researchers, and entrepreneurs in circular solutions
✅ Raise awareness through education, outreach, and workshops

“Remedies for the Future: Workshop for Entrepreneurs”

A central event of the campaign is a workshop at Ceste Business School, Zaragoza, on October 24th, 2025. Designed for students and young entrepreneurs, the workshop will present the REMEDIES project’s vision and opportunities for innovation. The session will conclude with a hands-on waste collection activity at the Zaragoza Canal, demonstrating the project’s commitment to both learning and action.

Collaboration with European Projects

To maximize outreach, Aitiip will collaborate with related EU initiatives including ATRIUM, UPSTREAM, ECOSISTEMA GO, and REDOL. REMEDIES program through this campaign will strengthen synergies and amplify shared objectives in marine litter prevention and circular economy solutions.
