On June 8, 2024, the Parents and Guardians Association of the 4th Primary School of Patras – Roufeio organized a successful beach cleanup at Tam Toom Beach with 40 volunteers. This event is part of ongoing efforts to tackle marine pollution and promote environmental conservation, supported by the REMEDIES program and Impact Hub Athens. The team managed to collect 1,35 kg of plastic litter and 2,86 kg of other waste.
This cleanup was proudly supported by REMEDIES partner Impact Hub Athens, as part of the #20TonnesChallenge with WWF Greece’s Adopt a Beach program.
