Uniting for Cleaner Coasts: All For Blue, IHA, and MCGreece Launch #20tonneschallenge Anti-litter Campaign in Greece

By September 5, 2024News

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the second anti-litter campaign in Greece under the #20tonneschallenge! This initiative is a collaboration between two REMEDIES partners, Impact Hub Athens and MCGreece, and the successful NGO All For Blue, which has been a close partner of the program in Greece. All For Blue is a Greek NGO dedicated to marine conservation through educational programs and hands-on activities like beach and underwater clean-ups. Their mission is to protect the ocean by reducing plastic pollution, engaging communities, and promoting environmental awareness. They have successfully organized numerous clean-up events across Greece, making a significant impact. All For Blue has already organized multiple beach clean-ups across Greece. The anti-litter campaign will kick off in early September and run through the end of autumn, inviting volunteers to join in clean-ups. Throughout the campaign, we will maintain awareness and follow-up through social media posts, blog entries, photos and videos showcasing before and after cleanup scenes, and detailed reporting on the collected litter.

This collaboration represents a powerful synergy between the above mentioned three organisations, united in a common goal to protect and preserve our beautiful beaches. We invite everyone to join us in this meaningful endeavor, making a lasting impact on our environment for generations to come. Stay tuned for more updates and join us in making a difference for our coasts!
