As part of the broader REMEDIES Anti-Litter Campaign in Morocco, co-organized by Mohammed Premier University (MOH) and Ecoloplatform du Maroc du Nord, the 6th edition of the PLASTIC FANTASTIC Webinar series focuses on Plastic Identification and the introduction of a groundbreaking Aerial Drone & AI solution from the REMEDIES ecosystem.

REMEDIES partners presenting in the webinar are:

University of Maribor (UM):
UM will lead the educational presentation on plastic identification, offering insights into the different types of plastic, what can and cannot be recycled, and how we can become conscious consumers. This session will empower citizens with the knowledge needed to take informed action in their everyday choices.

Mohammed Premier University (MOH):
As the local lead of the Saidia Demo Site, MOH will provide updates on the Moroccan campaign and introduce the REMEDIES technological innovation featured in this session.

REMEDIES Innovation Spotlight
This webinar will showcase the Aerial Drone and AI Solution developed by MOH—a pioneering system that enhances the detection, mapping, and monitoring of plastic waste in coastal areas. This innovation is part of the REMEDIES program’s mission to modernize and scale up marine litter prevention and clean-up efforts.
