Wasser 3.0 gGmbH hosts Open House with UPSTREAM and REMEDIES as co-hosts
On June 26–27, 2025, Wasser 3.0 gGmbH (W30)—a leading non-profit Greentech company committed to eliminating microplastics and micropollutants from water—is hosting its second Open House at the Landau-Mörlheim wastewater treatment plant in Germany. The event will be co-hosted by the Horizon Europe projects UPSTREAM and REMEDIES, both of which will present their cutting-edge solutions for sustainable water systems.
The Open House aims to share research-driven, real-world innovations for clean water with a wide audience, fostering open dialogue and knowledge exchange. Participants will experience firsthand how science, technology, and citizen engagement can combine to address one of today’s most pressing environmental challenges: microplastic pollution.
Over two days, visitors will explore:
🔹 Microplastic analysis (sampling, preparation, fluorescence-based detection)
🔹 Advanced solutions for municipal and industrial wastewater treatment
🔹 Circular economy approaches and resource recovery from polluted waters
🔹 The Global Map of Microplastics, a citizen science initiative empowering public data collection
🔹 The Wasser 3.0 PE-X® technology for microplastic removal and reuse
About Wasser 3.0
