On April 23rd and 24th, 2024, in Tirana, Albania, the REMEDIES partner ETMI organized the 4th General Assembly of the program, that brought together all 23 REMEDIES partners. Held at the Tirana International Hotel & Conference Centre, the event served as a platform for showcasing the program’s achievements, discussing upcoming milestones, and fostering meaningful collaboration among international partners.
The agenda was packed with insightful sessions and discussions, offering participants a comprehensive overview of the program’s progress and future objectives. Throughout the assembly, leaders of all work packages (WP) presented their efforts and outlined future goals. The sessions were structured into parallel tracks, allowing participants to delve into specific topics of interest. Partners that couldn’t be present, join the session via zoom.
Over the course of the assembly, participants engaged in parallel sessions centered on key themes suggested by the partners leading tasks. These sessions facilitated focused discussions and collaboration on topics such as the underwater drone monitoring approach for demo sites and the development of business models and socio-ecological governance of local stakeholders. Additionally, participants explored the evaluation of joint solutions, including a dehumidifier fountain and anti-litter campaigns, offering valuable insights and strategies for addressing environmental challenges.
Overall, the 4th General Assembly of REMEDIES was a resounding success, fostering collaboration, sharing knowledge, and paving the way for continued progress in environmental remediation efforts.
