Welcome to the REMEDIES Innovation Marketplace

The REMEDIES Innovation Marketplace is a practical hub designed to demonstrate the projects solutions covering the 3 pillars Monitoring & Detection, Collection & Valorization and Prevention & Zero-Waste following EU Mission “Restore our Ocean and Waters” specific objective prevent and eliminate pollution of our ocean, seas and waters, in line with the EU Action Plan Towards Zero Pollution for Air, Water and Soil.

Through the Marketplace, REMEDIES connects local authorities, coastal territories, businesses, NGOs, researchers, innovators and investors with actionable strategies for plastic monitoring, collection, prevention and valorisation. In this way, the Marketplace supports the Mission’s long-term legacy: moving from research and demonstration towards deployment, uptake and wider systemic change.

REMEDIES Innovative Solutions

Innovations developed, tested and implemented directly by the REMEDIES project, acting as Mediterranea seabasin lighthouse project, contributing to the Mission objectives of preventing and eliminating pollution, restoring ocean and water ecosystems, and advancing circular blue economy solutions.

Circular Solutions supporting local zero-waste value chains

Solutions proposed by independent stakeholders who are part of the wider REMEDIES movement and share the ambition of reducing plastic pollution through circular, regenerative and locally adaptable approaches actively supporting and strengthening local zero-waste value chains.

Financial Resources

A targeted directory of potential funding and financing sources to help bring these initiatives closer to implementation, replication and long-term impact.

Every innovation profile offers a clear overview of its environmental and socio-economic benefits, alongside direct contact details to facilitate collaboration, knowledge exchange and replication. By bringing these solutions together, the Marketplace helps ensure that the results of REMEDIES remain useful beyond the project itself and continue contributing to the shared Mission towards healthier ocean and waters.
