Senior Expert within the WWF Italy Sustainability Team
A practitioner of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (PIEMA), with a BEng in Environmental Engineering and resource management and an MSc in Environmental Management, throughout his career he has acquired extensive experience in Italy and abroad leading the development, delivery, engagement and communication of sustainability, carbon and waste management strategies, programmes and projects in line with the principles of a circular economy. A major part of his work in recent years has been focused on working with public and private sector stakeholders tackling plastic pollution in line with WWF’s No Plastic in Nature Agenda.

Supporting and engaging initiatives like REMEDIES is crucial in addressing the urgent challenge of plastic pollution and protect our oceans and waters. Through monitoring and and advancing sustainable solutions, fostering collaboration, and promoting innovation, such projects drive crucial change empowering communities, industries, and policymakers to reduce waste, enhance recycling, and safeguard marine ecosystems, ensuring a healthier planet for all.
