CNR at Baltic Yachts Rendezvous 2023

On the 16th of September 2023, REMEDIES partner CNR was invited to talk on stage during the “Baltic Yachts Rendezvous 2023” event in Porto Rotondo about the CNR and CReS conservation activities for sea turtles in Sardinia, the goals reached in 20 years by the Sardinian Regional Network with all the Marine Protected Areas and theier International projects, like REMEDIES, against plastic pollution that impacts sea turtles and all the marine wildlife.

CNR also released a loggerhead sea turtle with a satellite tracking device sponsored by the Baltic Yachts in collaboration with Nautica Assistance society and Tavolara-Punta Coda Cavallo MPA. The presentation reached more than 300 people and above all we raised awareness to a different kind of people that use to frequent Sardinian sea on board of large boats and yoatchs and is very sensitive to the sea turtles problems.
