PLASTIC FANTASTIC is an international online Hackathon & acceleration program, organized by REMEDIES program, where experts of diverse backgrounds from across Europe & the Mediterranean will gather together to hack the circle of plastic.
Starting in April 2024 with an international Hackathon, this program will incubate up to 30 plastic hacking solutions through a 2 week program, in order to spot the 3 winners that will be offered custom business support from April to July 2024!
During the PLASTIC FANTASTIC Hackathon, environmental & business experts, water & environmental activists, and impact entrepreneurs will work collectively to further develop solutions regarding the detection, monitoring, collection, valorisation and prevention as well as reuse of plastic litter.

The program is addressed to:
- teams with innovative solutions on an idea stage,
- recently established (up to 5 years) non (for) profit organizations,
- recently established (up to 5 years) for profit companies,
